Mr Verieux Mourillon is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), a Certified Action Learning Coach and also holds the Global Professional HR (GPHR) designation from SHRM/HRCI. With over twenty-five years’ experience in the field of human performance improvement and management, Mr Mourillon has held the positions of Director of Human Resources at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank up to December 2006, Executive Manager Human Resource and Organisational Development at the National Bank of Dominica Limited up to January 2011 and more recently head of HR at the Caribbean Examinations Council from 2011 to 2015.
Mr Mourillon is a human and organisational performance development professional with a keen interest in change facilitation, team building and leadership development. He has been a consultant in the listed areas for a range of organisations which include the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Caribbean Leadership Project, Sir Arthur Lewis Community College, Ministry of Trade – St. Lucia, BVI Social Security Board, the Dominica Cooperative Societies League Limited and National Cooperative Credit Union.
Currently Mr Mourillon is the Executive Director of WIAL Caribbean (www.wialcaribbean.org) which is committed to promoting Action Learning as a highly effective process for empowerment of people in organisations and communities, leadership development and problem-solving. He is currently using Action Learning in developing public sector leaders through the Leadership Development Programme of the Caribbean Leadership Project.
Mr Mourillon is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Association for Talent Development, formerly ASTD and the Asian Institute of Management.
Verieux Mourillon holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of the West Indies and the Master’s Degree in Education (Training and Development) from the University of Sheffield.
